The Next Step To Success (NSTS) program provides comprehensive, free programs for teens in Norfolk, focusing on social, emotional, and educational development.
After-School Program: Running from September, this program offers rolling admission and includes free transportation from schools to Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church. Activities encompass homework assistance, arts, and a catered dinner Monday through Thursday, with off-site activities on Fridays.
Summer Program: From late June to mid-August, this camp provides full-day sessions, emphasizing skill development in resilience, teamwork, and leadership. Activities include STEM, arts, sports, cooking, and weekly field trips, with free transportation and meals provided.
Eligibility: Open to Norfolk residents aged 13-18, the program requires proof of residency and income. Special cases are reviewed individually.
